BLAS has many projects running throughout the year, with various partners. Take a look at below at some of the projects we have on.

Uned Heulwen

This projects works with the staff and patients of Uned Heulwen at Ysbyty Gwynedd, providing creative opportunities in the waiting room, to relieve stress and make hospital visits a more positive experience for children and their families. Through art, music, Sion the dog's visits, and informal chats in the waiting room, children and their families feel more relaxed when attending their appointments, and the unit has become a more peaceful and welcoming space. The long term aim of the project is to assess whether a more positive experience reduces the number of missed appointments.
